Update: Use of face masks in shops in England to become mandatory on the 24th of July

The UK government has announced today that the use of face masks in shops across England will become mandatory by law on the 24th of July and that non-compliance will result in a £100 fine.

This is the second time the government has made the use of face masks in a public place mandatory by law with the use of face masks on public transport having been made mandatory on the 15th of June.
