Eviction resistance training

All UVW members Eviction Resistance Training – Tuesday 13th October at 7pm.

Our brothers and sisters at the national tenants & community union Acorn have extended a special invitation to members of UVW to join their training on how to resist evictions in a Covid-compliant way, in order to protect our communities and keep families in their homes.

As unemployment levels are set to soar, and the Covid laws preventing landlords from evicting tenants disappear, the risk of evictions and homelessness will become an ever-present threat.

Housing is a human right and we can’t stand by and watch our members and our neighbours get evicted. It’s time to get organised!

This training will be conducted in English & Spanish and will take place online on Tuesday 13th October at 7pm.
