UVW appeals dismissals of a group of cleaners at the LSE University

We are currently appealing the dismissals of a group of cleaners at the LSE University, who are outsourced to the cleaning contractor Noonan and were callously sacked, after years of working at the LSE, only because on one shift they left work an hour early after finishing the work they had to do and skipping their lunch breaks.

To be discarded like the dirt they clean is disgraceful, and far more so because it took place at the LSE, a university which claims to seek to ‘better society’.

If our appeals are not upheld we will be taking Noonan to an Employment Tribunal and will campaign for their reinstatement at the LSE.
