UVW to hold vigil for cleaner who died due to abuse at work

UVW is to hold a vigil on 12th February 2016 for Fernando Montero, a father, a husband and a member of UVW, wh came to London from Spain looking for a better life, found a job as a cleaner in a sky-scrapper in London’s financial district and died of a heart attack due to the abuse he faced at work which is, unacceptably, all too common in the cleaning sector.
We will now fight for justice, recognition and accountability beginning with this vigil.
Meet at Bank station at 1pm.
