No more stolen wages and insecure contracts
UVW members are transforming hospitality and service work, fighting wage theft, low pay and insecurity in a precarious, under-unionised industry. We fight for strong union representation and higher standards of pay, dignity and respect. Radisson Blu housekeepers won the first successful UK hotel strike since 1979 and union recognition at Canary Wharf and Euston Square hotels. Harrods bar and kitchen workers ended tip theft and won a 25% pay rise in 2021. Their victories are raising standards across the sector.
