All the courageous cleaners and porters that took part in the protest yesterday demanding sick pay and end to trade union victimisation have been sacked by Sotheby’s auction house and their contractor Servest. Some of them have been working for Sotheby’s for over 5 years. We will now fight tirelessly for their reinstatement.
Please write support our campaign:
- write to us if you would like to get directly involved in the campaign so we can co-ordinate our actions. We will need all the support we can get;
- tweet @Sothebys, email them athttp://www.sothebys.com/en/contactus.html, fwd the info to journalist friends, join the next protest, get involved in the campaign;
- spread the word wide and far;
- come to our fun- & fundraising BBQ this Saturday
We will not let Sotheby’s get away with this. Protesting is a right, not a crime! The campaign has only just began. Watch this space for further actions.
