Come embroider the UVW banner with the Chilean exile community group Bordando por la Memoria and renowned banner designer Ed Hall on Thursday 4 April.
The embroiderers will add their arpillera stitches, a style used by Chilean women to denounce the atrocities of the Pinochet dictatorship and remember the disappeared. With these stitches, we will pay homage to their cause and memory as well.
