WHAT IS AN AGM?
It’s a mass workers assembly, that brings together all members of the UVW family from all sectors and all workplaces. Everyone is welcome. English, Spanish and Portuguese interpretation will be provided!

WHEN AND WHERE WILL IT TAKE PLACE?
Saturday 27 Match 2021 at 1pm via Zoom, an online video conferencing platform. Download the latest version here.

WHY SHOULD YOU PARTICIPATE?
We will learn from each other by sharing our collective actions, campaigns, and wins.
You will VOTE on motions that decide the future direction of your union. Each member will have one vote.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO ATTEND?

WHAT IS A MOTION?
It’s a call to action by members discussed and voted on at the AGM.
Motions should be relevant to UVW and propose actions that are in line with our mission and role as a trade union.

A WORD ON MUTUAL RESPECT
Dignity, respect and equality is what the UVW fights for on the streets, in the courts and in our meetings!
