I am calling on you to conduct a full and impartial investigation into the allegations of sexual harassment and assault which were reported to you on on 28 February by United Voices of the World (UVW) union. While the investigation is ongoing, the manager accused of the harassment and assault should be suspended to prevent the worker from having to see him. Women should be able to work without being sexually harassed or assaulted by men. When they report it, their accusations should be taken seriously, with the alleged perpetrators being suspended until a serious investigation has been completed. We believe your company has failed to conduct a proper investigation by not allowing the worker to attend meetings with a representative from their trade union. Please ensure that the worker is allowed to attend meetings accompanied by a union representative in future. Yours faithfully,
