Emanuel’s story begins to be heard

The tragic case of Emanuel Gomes, a United Voices of the World (UVW) member who passed away in April, has recently hit the headlines. Make sure you read Emanuel’s story and share it across social media so that the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) are not left off the hook for this scandalous affair.

Emanuel’s death could have been avoided, and many of his colleagues lives were also – and are also – being placed in danger by a callous outsourcing arrangement that denies them contractual sick pay and therefore robs them of the right to genuinely be able to self-isolate in safety in the midst of this unprecedented pandemic.
