Low paid, precarious and migrant workers – come join the strike wave! ✊🏽

United Voices of the World (UVW) is set to ballot workers at SIXTEEN workplaces across London and the South East to take part in co-ordinated strike action this summer.

UVW workplace reps who are currently organising strikes, will be getting together with experienced UVW strike leaders, to collectively strategise and co-ordinate their campaigns.

We want you to come to the Strikers’ Assembly to support UVW members’ mass strike for dignity, equality and respect at work, and to find out how to strike yourselves!

UVW strike leaders will be sharing their experiences and lessons on what it takes to strike and win. Learn from UVW’s past struggles and how you can support new ones.

At the assembly we will be planning the actions we’ll do to support the co-ordinated strikes and campaigns. We’ll be talking about how to build power in workplaces and fight for proper pay and conditions.

We can only guarantee access for UVW members and solidarity network members. If you’re not already a member of the Solidarity Network, please join for as little as £10 a month. If you’re not either but still want to come you can sign up to the Eventbrite to register your interest.

In true UVW-style, we will be holding a barbecue and social after the assembly. 🔥💃🏽
