Would you like to improve your maths skills, to learn to budget and manage your money? 

Do you want to learn to use fractions, percentages and measurements to calculate loans, hours, discounts… or even your pension? 

Come and join us for a five-week free maths course every Saturday morning from 27 May 2023 until 24 June 2023 (both dates inclusive) at Casa UVW.

The course will cover: 

– Budgeting and money management
– Converting metrics for measuring curtains, food and flooring
– Calculating percentages for discounts, loans and credit cards
– Understanding time sheets and calculating hours

– Discovering how pension contributions are calculated

UVW’s free and bespoke numeracy course is done in collaboration with City Lit, Europe’s largest centre for adult education.

The course runs in English only, and is open to all UVW members or relatives who are 19 or older and don’t already have a GCSE grade C/4 or higher in Maths.
