✊🏽 Get empowered! Fight patriarchy, sexist, racist and class structures to the tune of Colombia’s Afro-Caribbean culture and music ✊🏽

📅 WEEKLY SESSIONS: Every Thursday from 15 February onwards  ⏰ 7pm – 9pm

📅

🏠 Casa UVW, 144 Cambridge Heath Road, London E1 5QJ

Taty Tambo, from la Comba collective, invites you to their workshop

While the workshops aim to particularly empower women to fight patriarchy through embracing traditional folklore, this is an inclusive activity. It is open to UVW members and non members – from children to seniors of all genders and fellow travellers in our fight for equality.

Tatiana Margarita Roa, Tay Tambo, a UVW member and veteran percussionist from La Comba, will be running the sessions. Get in touch with her here for more info >> Lacombauk@gmail.com

Come to learn, share and create community.

*Non-UVW members will be asked for a voluntary contribution if they bring their own drums and a £5 donation if they need to rent drums.
