The government is expected to introduce a whole host of new employment, trade union and industrial relations laws in the coming weeks. They are likely to concern things like unfair dismissal law, zero hours contracts, fire and rehire, strike laws, protections for new mothers, sick pay, parental leave and more. These follow another set of new laws introduced earlier this year concerning flexible working, allocation of tips, carers’ leave, protection for pregnant women and sexual harassment.

We don’t know the details of any of these potential new laws yet, but whatever they are, we want to make sure that you all understand them so you can use them and make sure your boss respects them.

So we will be running a series of interactive workshops in the days and weeks that follow the publication of these laws that will likely be around mid-October.
