Protest Cancelled due to Victory!

VICTORY! VICTORY! VICTORY! Protest this Friday at Withers is cancelled. UVW have won again! After threat of direct and industrial action due to commence this Friday 12th June the multinational law firm Withers have just agreed to not only pay the cleaners the London Living Wage of £9.15 per hour from 27th July 2015 but also to backdate it to 1st November 2014. This equates to an extra £424 per month for those previously working full time on the minimum wage and around an extra £3800 per cleaner previously on the minimum wage in backdated wages. This is yet more evidence of the power of the union! If we fight together there are no limits to what we can achieve!
