LGBTQIA+ people (including UVW members and all Queer people who would like to join the trade union movement) join us in celebrating the incredible contribution of LGBTQIA+ people to the UK trade union movement.
We are workers and revolutionaries and aren’t just political objects but subjects making change!
Historically Queer people have been at the forefront of anticapitalist, trade union and revolutionary organising across the world. However we tend to be erased from these working class histories due to homophobia and discrimination.
At UVW we aim to welcome ALL workers, to empower them and work alongside them to grow our revolutionary movement for and by the proletariat.
Join us at these two events to celebrate our Queer history and membership!
